Bags are back, baby!

By my best guess, it’s been 5 years since I’ve been able to offer Purple bags for the Sheriff of Nottingham replacement bags. Yep. FIVE long years. Countless customers asking if they could please have purple instead of the silver/gray. But no more!

After much questing, I sleuthed out the manufacturer of the velvet I’ve been ordering from a large online fabric shop. I contacted the company directly and worked with a wonderful woman (Hi Diane!) who helped me setup a business account and ordered my purple velvet. Of course, that was a whole ROLL of purple velvet, but at least I won’t run out anytime soon.

Just when I thought I was set to make a whole mess of bags, I realized I was out of the navy blue and it was unavailable. Anywhere. Even from the manufacturer. More questing ensued. Finally, I got the blue player cards out of both the 1st and 2nd edition sets (yes, we own both to make sure the bags and stands will work with them) to see if I could a different blue. Lo and behold, the blue player actually matched an available blue color! So now, the five player bags accurately match the player cards. And I’m already working on a second batch of bag sets.
